Wolves vs Newcastle Prediction & Betting Tips

If you’re looking for Wolves vs Newcastle prediction & betting tips, you are at the right place. We’re now going to discuss players’ forms, injury lists, and everything else related to the game taking place at the Molineux Stadium in Wolverhampton on Monday evening. So let’s start!

Raul Jimenez of Wolverhampton Wanderers

Wolves

Here is a team that used to play in the Championship last season, but now they are flying very high in the Premier League. They’re currently just behind the Big 6. Sure, they might be far away in terms of points from the teams that compete for a spot in one of two major European championships, Europa League and the Champions League.

But, at the same time, they have nothing to worry about getting relegated back to the Championship. Instead, a very respectable mid-table position is guaranteed if they keep on playing this well. And they’ve been brilliant in the last couple of matches. The year did start with two defeats, but then they won three games in a row in the Premier League.

The obvious question is what is the secret to the success of Wolves? Well, although it’s true that they’re owned by a big Asian conglomerate, they’re not a typical well-spending team. Instead of splashing hundreds of millions on big-name players, Wolves bought just the ones they needed, thus creating a team that’s strong in every part of the pitch. And you can see a true harmony between their players, both when they go to attack and when they get back to defend.

Newcastle

The main reason why Newcastle aren’t hammered to the bottom of the table is that they have a fantastic manager. Rafa Benitez has a fantastic pedigree, having managed a number of football giants, including Liverpool, with whom he won the Champions League. And he’s came to Newcastle a few seasons ago in order to try to bring its former glory back.

But, Benitez didn’t have much support from the club’s management whose transfer policy is not to spend too much. The result is that Newcastle have a top-class manager who is in charge of a squad of players who don’t deserve to be in the top English flight.

With the resources he has, Benitez has done a wonderful job at Newcastle but the chance is that he’ll leave the club at the end of the season. Of course, this doesn’t mean that he’s going to give up on them right away. On the contrary, he surely doesn’t want to add relegation to his portfolio. Instead, he’ll do his utmost to keep the Magpies in the Premier League.

And if you’re going to judge it by Newcastle’s recent performances, their chances of staying up are pretty high. In January, they beat the title holders Manchester City by 2:1. They also beat Cardiff by 3:0 and gave Tottenham a run for their money even they lost the game eventually.

Wolves vs Newcastle Prediction

Wolves are much better than Newcastle, plus they have zero problems with injuries, unlike their opponent. On top of everything, Wolves have been in a goal-scoring mood lately, so even the well-organized defense of Newcastle doesn’t seem capable of stopping them.
