Fulham are in desperate need of points but getting them this Saturday will be very hard, considering that they’re playing Man United. The Red Devils are still unbeaten since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been in charge; can Claudio Ranieri’s boys put an end to it? Sure, the player quality is on the side of the away team, but Fulham will have massive support from the stands of Craven Cottage. Fulham
They’re second from the bottom but there’s still plenty of time left for Fulham to get away from the relegation zone. They’ve been showing some tiny signs of improvement lately. For example, they beat Brighton 4:2 after being 2:0 down at half time. They also managed to score against Tottenham and Arsenal in January.
But, scoring has never been too much of a problem for Fulham. Actually, they have some pretty good players there, starting with Mitrovic, who is still among the top scorers in the league. And since recently, they have Ryan Babel in the team, a very experienced winger.
The problem with Fulham is that their defense is very soft. They’ve allowed 55 goals in 25 games, which is more than any other team in the Premier League. And unfortunately for their fans, it seems that they won’t improve too much at the back anytime soon. They didn’t bring in a quality defender during the winter transfer window but have instead decided to make their attack even stronger. Who knows, maybe that will do them well against Man United?
Manchester United
Since Mourinho’s been sacked, Man United have been terrific. They appear like a whole different team. Instead of defending, they’re now attacking with all they got. When Mourinho was the leading man, this team had the least number of goals scored among the top 6 teams. But, since Solskjaer has been at the helm, Man United have scored a total of 20 goals in 8 Premier League matches.
And because they’ve been playing so offensively, it’s not a surprise that they’ve been allowing more goals than usual. They’ve allowed at least a goal in 5 out of 8 previous Premier League matches. So, maybe Fulham really do have a chance against them?
The Cottagers definitely seem capable of scoring against the Red Devils, but keeping a clean sheet looks almost impossible. At the moment, Manchester United appear like a team that can outscore almost any team in the league. Pogba’s on fire, same as Rashford, same as Martial. Even the players who struggled to find a proper form under Mourinho have started playing much better lately, e.g. Lukaku, Sanchez, Mata, and others.
The best thing of all is that Manchester United are almost completely injury-free. The only player who will miss the game is Marcos Rojo, who, to be honest, probably wouldn’t play a major part even if he were fit. This means that Solskjaer can pick his best team to face Fulham.

Fulham vs Manchester United Prediction
Fulham are just too bad at the back to be able to prevent Manchester United scoring at least two or three times on Saturday. They might be able to put one away, but that probably won’t be enough.
