Arsenal vs Tottenham Prediction & Betting Tips

This Sunday, we will see some pretty entertaining matches in the Premier League. One of those is the London Derby between Arsenal and Tottenham. Both of these teams are in the top 5 on the table and if they improve their form a little bit, they could possible even challenge the title. But, do they actually deserve to be so high? Maybe their next duel will give us answers. And if you want to bet on it, make sure first to read our Arsenal vs Tottenham prediction & betting tips!

Dele Alli and Harry Kane, Tottenham Hotspur

Arsenal

Since Unai Emery has taken the helm, Arsenal have been fantastic. This team has been playing well both in the Premier League and in the Europe League. And by ‘good’, I mean that they are without a single defeat since August.

They probably plan to remain unbeaten for a while longer, but that won’t be that easy as Tottenham are in an impressive run. Still, the Gunners do have a pretty decent team and are particularly dangerous in the final third. What’s got to worry them slightly is that their schedule in the next few weeks seems pretty harsh. After the game with Tottenham, they travel to play against Red Devils at the Old Trafford.

Staying in top form is not going to be easy for another reason – they have several players struggling with injuries. One of those is Alexandre Lacazette, who will probably be ready for Sunday’s game, but he probably won’t be able to give his utmost. Still, there are a few other players that could help him out or take his role completely.

All of that does not seem to bother Arsenal fans. The reason is that the Gunners have been fantastic at home, particularly when playing against the Spurs. In fact, Tottenham won only once when playing at Arsenal’s turf since the beginning of the century. Most of their duels played at Arsenal’s ground ended as home wins.

Tottenham

The Spurs haven’t been playing this well in a while. They won six games in a row, counting all competitions. And in those six games, they had to play against some really top-class teams, including Inter and Chelsea.

The most impressive thing about this team is that they didn’t make any signings during the summer window, but their squad does seem capable of competing in two exhausting competitions, Premier League and the Champions League.

Tottenham do have a couple of injured players, but that does not seem to bother them much. They’re going to their utmost to beat their city rival on Sunday afternoon. And they have every right to hope for a good result, because they won each of their previous 7 games on the road.

Arsenal vs Tottenham Prediction

With both teams in such good forms, it is hard to predict the outcome of the game. In terms of player quality, I think Tottenham are slightly better, but the match is played on Arsenal’s turf, where they’re simply brilliant. All this makes me think we will see a draw here.
