UEFA Euro 2016 – Qualifying: Armenia vs Serbia Betting Preview

In the second round in qualifications for the UEFA EURO 2016, Armenia will host Serbia.

In the first round Denmark beat Armenia 2-1, despite the fact that the visitors had a lead of 0-1. They will try to take their first points in the match against Serbia, but the situation in their team is not good.

Gevorg Ghazaryan (midfielder, Olympiakos Piraeus), Hrair Mkoyan (defender, Esteghlal) and key player Henrikh Mkhitaryan (midfielder, Borussia Dortmund) are all out.

Yura Movsisyan (attacker) and Aras Ozbiliz (midfielder), both from Spartak Moscow, are not on the list of invited players due to the injuries.

Serbia played against France at home in the first round 1-1. France national squad is host of EURO 2016 and they are automatically qualified on this competition, but they are unofficially in this group, but the results are not count.

Serbia have hired Dick Advocaat as coach for their UEFA EURO 2016 road and this will be his first official match for Serbia. Serbia failed to qualify at the World Cup 2014 and their main goal is to play in France 2016.

They have full squad available and many good known players such as Kolarov (Man City), Ivanovic and Matic (both from Chelsea), Markovic (Liverpool) etc.

Djordjevic (attacker, Lazio), who’s in the great form, will probably lead the attack in Yerevan. He started this season in Lazio very good, scoring 4 goals.

Armenia and Serbia met 3 times in their history and Serbia was better side in two matches, while one match was finished without winner.

Interesting fact is that Armenia have never scored against Serbia.

Serbia is better side, they have many quality players and I expect their win and good start in the qualifications.
