The Foxes seem like a mid-table team that has nothing to worry about relegation, yet has very tiny chance to play in Europe next season. Still, Leicester have started the season very well. They did lose in the opening round to Man United, but have since won two matches in a row. First they beat Wolves at home, then Southampton in an away match. The South Coast game saw them winning 2:1 with the winning goal scored in the second minute of the extra time.
This is actually pretty impressive, considering that Leicester have been playing without one of their best players, Jamie Vardy. He’s serving a suspension and will miss the clash with Liverpool as well. Now without Vardy in the team, Leicester will have to rely on other players to do well against the Reds. The problem is that no one seems good enough to be able to win points on his own. Therefore, Leicester will probably have to focus on defense rather than attack.
Liverpool
The Reds are among the top favorites for winning the Premier League this season. That shouldn’t surprise you as they have a fantastic team, as well as a fantastic manager who knows how to motivate his players. Jurgen Klopp’s boys have always been very motivated to score as many goals as possible, but this season we saw them being very well organized in defense as well. Once again, Liverpool fans are putting their hopes in Mohamad Salah, but the truth is that the Reds are much more than him this season.
