In the first match in Serie A this weekend Juventus take on Atalanta.
Juve stand at the 1st position, they have a solid advantage of 7 points more than the second Roma and they are on a very good way to win the title.
Home team failed to win against Cesena last week 2-2, but Roma also didn’t take all three points against Parma, so the things at the table didn’t change.
Juventus play very important match in the UEFA Champions League against Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday, so the match against Atalanta could be a good test to prepare better for that match.
They are playing amazing at home this season, where they are still undefeated (9-2-0).
Good news for Juve is that their top scorer Tevez get back from suspension, while Alessandro Matri who came from Genoa could make his debut tonight.
However, Asamoah (6/0 m), Romulo (2/0 m), Marrone (0/0 m) and their second top scorer Vidal (18/6 m) are all out.
Atalanta stand one place above the relegation zone and they desperately need points in order to move up in the safer zone. But, it’s hard to believe that they can make some good result against very strong host.
For this match they have many problems with the injured and suspended players.
Benalouane (17/1 d), Pinilla (6/1 f) and Carmona (22/0 m) are all out due to suspension, Cherubin (9/0 d), Estigarribia (6/1 m), Raimondi (6/0 m), their top scorer and key player Moralez (19/5 m) and Biava (12/1 d) are all injured, while A. Gomez (11/0 m) is doubtful.
I expect that they will play very defensive and try to stay undefeated, but Juve is too strong and I believe that they will finish the job in the first half-time.
