Caen has an ambition to promote this season in Ligue 1. Caen manager Patrice Garande couldn’t be happy with the recent form in which they have lost three times in the last four matches.
Today’s match could be a great opportunity to get back because they play 
against one of the worst team in Ligue 2, Istres. Caen misses out Laurent Agouazi (suspended), Wague and Jonathan Kodjia (both injured), while Nangis is doubtful.
Istres is standing on 19th position. They are the team which conceded the most goals in Ligue 2, 23 goals on 13 matches. Their away form is terrible. In their last 20 away matches in all competitions, they’ve managed to win only once and on the last 15 away macthes they conceded on every match, at least one goal.
Istres misses out Niangbo, while Sainati and Dabo are both doubtful.
Maybe Caen is not in the great form, but today’s opponent is a great opportunity to win and get more confidence.
