France – Coupe de France: Quevilly vs Bastia Betting Tip

In the 1/16-finals of Coupe de France, Quevilly host Bastia.

Quevilly play in the  CFA – Group A (4th French league) where they are standing at the second position and they are fighting to promote in the French National league (3rd league), while Bastia play in the Ligue 1.

There’s a big difference in quality between these two teams, but for this match Bastia will play without almost all first team players. The chance will get players who didn’t play too much this season and some players from the second team (Bastia II).

The first goalkeeper Areola (20/0 gk), Diakité (13/0 d), Squillaci (17/0 d), Modesto (13/2 d), Palmieri (20/2 d), Maboulou (16/3 m), Ba (7/0 m) Gillet (21/1 m), Cahuzac (13/1 m), second top scorer Boudebouz (20/3 m), Ayité (17/2 f), Brandao (2/0 f), Kamano (12/1 f) and their top scorer Tallo (13/4 f) are all out.

Bastia made few very good results in the recent period. They have only two points more than the first team in relegation zone and their main goal is to stay in the best French league.

It doesn’t mean that they are not interested in Cup, but the match against Bordeaux on Saturday is primary.

Quevilly will be fully motivated to make a good result against team from Ligue 1. Despite many changes in team Bastia is still favorite in this match, but I’ll give an advantage (1X) to the home side.

This is a cup match and in the competitions like these we saw many weird results, so this betting tip is definitely not for single bet, but for some combo and small stake could be fine.
