And Everton manager Marco Silva probably has personal reasons why he wants his team to do well in this match. There’s a rumor that the club management isn’t too pleased with his work this season. Although he probably won’t get sacked anytime soon, the question is whether Everton have him in their long-term plans.

But, that could change easily if he and his boys surprised the pundits and won themselves some points against Liverpool. The Reds mustn’t stop winning because Manchester City are breathing by their neck, patiently waiting for them to slip. Considering how good they were in the previous round, their form doesn’t seem like is going to drop anytime soon.

In the last round of the Premier League, they destroyed Watford 5:0, a team that’s currently one spot above Everton. We saw Liverpool performing brilliantly in that game, which did surprise some people who thought their form has started to drop.

The thing is that they did have some problems since the start of the year. Actually, before beating Watford, Liverpool played draw in 4 out of their previous 5 matches. And one of those was the draw against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
