England – Championship: Burnley vs Middlesbrough Betting Preview

Burnley is standing at the second position and they are on good way to promote in Premier League.

Their home performance is one of the best in Championship. They have lost only once at home this season and it was a lost against Leicester, the leader on the table, two weeks ago.

It’s hard to believe that they will not secure the 2nd position and promote directly in the best English league, but they want three points in this match in order to finish this season on the best possible way.

The problem for them could be the absence of their top scorer Sam Vokes (39/20 f). Midfielder Junior Stanislas (23/2 m) is also out.

Middlesbrough is standing at the middle of the table, in safe zone, far from relegation, and they still have some chances to reach the play-off, but they have many problems with injured and suspended players, especially in defence.

7 defenders: Kenneth Omeruo (11/0 d), Ben Gibson (28/1 d), George Friend (39/3 d), Daniel Ayala (16/3 d), Rhys Williams (22/0 d), Stuart Parnaby (3/0 d), Seb Hines (2/0 d) and striker Muzzy Carayol (32/8 f) are all out.

With all those absences in defence, it will be hard for the visitors to avoid defeat against one of the best team in Championship this season.
