In the first match of Spanish Super Cup in the Santiago Bernabeu Real Madrid will host city rival Atletico Madrid.
Atletico Madrid won the title in Primera last season, while Real Madrid won Copa del Rey.
Both teams made many changes in their squads before start of this season. Atletico lost many important players from the last season: Diego Costa, David Villa, Thibaut Courtois and Filipe Luis all left the club. But, they brought quality replacements such as Antoine Griezmann, Mario Mandzukic, Jan Oblak and Raul Jimenez. There are some rumors that they want to bring another one good player before the start of Primera.
Real Madrid brought only two players: Toni Kroos and James Rodríguez, while many players stayed in the club. It looks that Real Madrid is stronger than last season.
The second leg will take place on Friday when Atletico will be a host at Vicente Calderón and I believe in the second match we will find out who will lift the trophy.
Without any doubt Real is a favorite in this match, but I’m not sure that they will win this one easy.
IMO, better betting option is to bet on goals. I expect 2 or 3 goals in this match. Middle stake!
