Spain – Copa del Rey: Real Oviedo vs Real Sociedad

In the first match of 1/16 finals of Copa del Rey, Real Oviedo host Real Sociedad.

Real Oviedo play very good in Segunda Division B (3rd Spanish league) where they are standing at the 1st position and they are on good way to promote in Segunda division.

In the last match against Zamora they lost for the first time at home this season. Their main goal is Segunda Division B, because it’s almost impossible for them to win this competition, but they want to make good result agains team from the Primera.
The ex Man Utd coach David Moyes, who recently became the coach of Real Sociedad, has announced that their priority is Primera division, so he will make many changes in team for this match.

The most of the players will be rested, while some players are injured, some suspended.

Despite the fact the they will play with many players who didn’t play too much this season, Real Sociedad is still favorite to go through in the 1/8 finals.

But, if we keep in mind that’s the first leg, this could be a good chance for Oviedo to make a positive result.

The better team in these two matches will face with the winner of Cadiz vs Villarreal.
