In the second leg of quarter-finals in FAI Cup Derry City will host Drogheda.
The first match was finished 2-2, so if tonight’s match end without winner they will play another match.
Both teams are playing in Irish Premier League and currently they are standing at the middle of the table. Derry City and Drogheda are the teams with the similar strengths.
The visitors are in better form. They lost only once in their last 10 matches in all competitions.
But, for today’s match they have many problems with the absences. Peter McGlynn (6/0 d), Shane Grimes (26/0 m), Gavan Holohan (21/4 m), Mick Daly (24/2 m) and Gavin Brennan (18/6 m) are all out, while their Gary O’Neill (26/6 f) is doubtful. Three of them got the red cards in the first match and they are under suspension.
Derry City without Danny Ventre (20/0 m), while the second top scorer Rory Patterson (19/8 f) and Barry Molloy (22/1 m) are both doubtful.
Derry City have a great chance to use Drogheda’s problems with the absences and qualify in the 1/2 finals of FAI Cup. I believe they can do it.
If we see an early goal, this could be a match with at least three goals, but the first betting option is home win.
Derry City vs Drogheda Betting Tip: Derry City -1 Ah @ 1.65 (Bet365)
