In the first match of 1/8 finals in Champions League, Olympiakos will host Manchester United.
Olympiakos is playing very good this season. They are without defeat in Greek Super League where they have already secure the title with 20 points more than the second PAOK. They have reached the second position in group phase in very solid group where were PSG, Benifca and Anderlecht.
For today’s match they will be without top scorer Saviola (23/11 f), Dimitrios Siovas (11/0 d), Miguel Torres (5/0 d) and Marko Scepovic (8/4 f), while Nelson Valdez (2/1 f) is doubtful.
On the other side, Manchester Utd have one of the worst seasons in Premier League. They are standing at the 6th position and have 15 points less than the current leader Chelsea. They have lost all chances to win the title, so Champions League is the only big competition where they can do something and save this season. Man Utd have many problems with injuries this season, but good news for them is that Rooney and Van Persie have recovered from the injuries and get back. They both scored in the last Premier League victory against Crystal Palace 0-2.
They are without Jonny Evans (16/0 d), Phil Jones (16/0 d), Nani (8/0 m) and Juan Mata (5/0 f). In defence will be experienced central defenders Vidic and Ferdinand.
United have good attack and defence, they are much stronger than Olympiakos despite their good performance in Greek Super League and I believe they could win this one, but I’ll cover this bet with “draw no bet”.
