BATE Borisov and Dinamo Minsk are the main candidates to win the title this season in Vysshaya Liga.

BATE need three points in this match in order to stay in a race for the title. BATE played an important match three days ago in qualifications for Champions league against Skenderbeu, but they failed to score and match was finished without goals. The second match will be played in Albania for four days, so it’s not excluded that their coach Alexander Ermakovich will make some changes and rest some players.

For BATE is more important, in this moment, to qualify in the elite European competition, so I expect they will not be 100% focused on today’s game.

BATE have some problems with absences and today they will be without four important players: Filipenko (16/1 d), Likhtarovich (10/0 m), Olekhnovich (11/0 m) and second top scorer Signevich (16/6 f).

Slutsk is a relative new team in Belarus football, founded 1998., but they found the way to promote and this match will be one of the most important for them this season. 

Slutsk have a full squad available. Good news for the home team is that midfielder Vadym Milko (14/2 m) has recovered from an injury and after a two-week absence should take place in the first eleven.

Despite the fact that BATE have some problems with absences and have an important match in qualifications for Champions League, they are still a favorite to win this one.

But, Slutsk play very defensive, especially when they are playing at home. They conceded only 4 goals at home this season in seven matches, so it will be very hard to for BATE to take all three points.
